It predicts the weathering durability of materials exposed to outdoor environments, reproducing degradation that would occur over months or years outdoors—including color change, gloss loss, chalking, cracking, embrittlement, and strength reduction. This chamber simulates the effects of outdoor aging in a laboratory setting.
